Atmosphere and Environment
The atmosphere is spectacular at DPS & C, Sahiwal. It feels like a big family. We depend on one another. There are lots of events going on all around. There is no rest for a family with many children. Our sources lie in a firm sense of purpose, well-planned preparations, effort and courage that go into reaching our goals. The journey of DPS Sahiwal began modestly in 1986 when it operated from a rented building in Farid Town, Sahiwal. However, within a year, a major milestone was achieved. In 1987, the school shifted to its expansive 68-acre purpose-built campus, a move that marked a new era of growth and excellence. The campus was formally inaugurated on the 27th of Ramadan, 1407 Hijri (May 25, 1987) — a date remembered with pride in the school’s history.
To further enhance its academic infrastructure, the Senior School Block was inaugurated on September 15, 1988, by none other than the then Chief Minister of Punjab, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. His presence and support reflected the government’s recognition of the school’s potential and its growing contribution to the educational landscape of the region.
Expansion and Growth of Infrastructure
Over the years, DPS Sahiwal has continued to invest in state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure to meet the ever-evolving academic needs of its growing student body. Major developments include:
